Maryam Osiri is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB. Hon.) with a specialization in Private Law. She is a Senior Associate at M. Osiri & Associates a law firm with a focus on Corporate and Property law Practice. She is a Certified Dispute Resolution Specialist and a promoter of Alternative Dispute Resolution as a more sustainable method of resolution of disputes and the Administration of Justice in Nigeria and in Africa at large. She has skills in Mediation and has intervened in settling disputes within the family sphere. She is also the Convener of the Virtual Hangout where family issues are discussed and solutions recommended within the family and business sphere. She is the author of the book “Preserving Business Relationships: Beginner’s Guide”. She attended Business Management Masterclass under the YOUWIN program organized for Youths by the Federal government of Nigeria and also holds a Certificate in Project Management issued by Pheek Foundation, an organization that specializes in providing business development and Consulting services through its Business arm, iCentra Consulting. She is currently undertaking her Master of Laws Program at the University of Abuja, Nigeria, under the Department of Public and International Law. She is happily married with two lovely kids.
